Adam Shoalts
Adam Shoalts, PhD, is Westaway Explorer-in-Residence at the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. His expeditions range from mapping rivers to archaeological projects, but Shoalts is best known for his long solo wilderness journeys, including crossing alone nearly 4,000 km of Canada’s Arctic. Named one of the “greatest living explorers” by CBC and declared “Canada’s Indiana Jones” by the Toronto Star, Shoalts’s latest quest was retracing the route of a lost explorer, the subject of his new #1 national bestselling book Vanished Beyond the Map. My name is Evan Lefebvre (Le5) and I’m born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. Other than being known as the canoeing guy on social media, I’m a passionate outdoors enthusiast. Camper Christina
Camper Christina is a youtuber and outdoor enthusiast who has been sharing her adventures and inspiring others since 2015. She started backcountry camping in 2002 and fell in love and now camps year-round. In 2015, with no one to go with, she began solo tripping, and although it took a bit more courage and time to get used to, it is currently her preference. Now, with more experience and confidence, she ventures into some extremely challenging and remote locations in the Canadian backcountry, usually alone, and loves to share her adventures with others through her social media platforms and youtube channel. Christina has also recently released two online courses, Backcountry Camping for Beginners and Winter Camping for Beginners, which are completely online and can be found on her website.

Hap Wilson
Author, artist, explorer, recipient of the Bill Mason Award for Lifetime Achievements in River Conservation and International Fellow of the Prestigious Explorer’s Club, Hap Wilson has canoed 60,000 KM through much of Canada’s Wilderness. He is one of North America’s best-known wilderness guides and canoeists, the author of over a dozen books, an expert sustainable trail builder, and co-founder of the environmental group Earthroots.

On July 22nd, 2023 Ben set out on a solo adventure of a lifetime. He spent 11 days alone travelling over 170km by canoe and on foot across the Steel River route in Northwestern Ontario, Canada.
Kayla Martin
Kayla Martin made her first dive trip at six weeks old and could swim before she could walk. This naturally lead to a love of the underwater world.
In 2013 at just 13 years old she got certified and has since logged hundreds of dives exploring the history of Great Lake’s Shipwrecks and the beauty of tropical coral reefs.
In hopes of inspiring the next generation of divers, Kayla has been creating presentations to share her experiences and love of diving.
Kayla serves as a volunteer for numerous Canadian conservation organizations promoting shipwreck preservation and low-impact diving.
