Dr Lynn Hoffman

Dr Lynn Hoffman

Hi.  I am Dr Lynn Hoffman – Tempel.  I am a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine – and I have been wandering and walking this world since 2000.  My wanderings have taken me on adventures in Taiwan, Thailand, India, Nepal, South Pacific Islands, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Europe, Malta, New Zealand and Indonesia and very soon to Africa. My adventures at home took me along a path of learning and working with the physical body from the perspective of its energy systems.  I began to wonder “what would it be like to climb a mountain now, with the knowledge and experience that I have now?”  The answer to that question was Kilimanjaro – October 2017. Come and spend 30 minutes with me and I will share with you the 3 secrets that have the power to change your summit from an attempt to a success.

Travel is my obsession! I am lucky to have had the opportunity to make my way through 31 different countries and don’t plan on stopping. Some of the highlights? Watching the sunrise on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, catching the awesome view from the top of the Great Wall in China and eating Gelato in Croatia. I’ve enjoyed every stage of my career, whether it’s been a practicum student, junior agent or branch manager, I welcome the opportunity to assist you with your travel dreams.

Kylan Falk

Kylan Falk

Kylan’s introduction to travel began at a very young age with trips to South Africa and Thailand before he was five! It was inevitable that he join Civilized Adventures family adventures to Kenya and the Galapagos (hosted by Denell). Since then, Kylan’s love of travel has taken him to  ChinaJordan , and  Thailand , and he has journeyed as far as  Antarctica  on an expedition cruise. An avid hockey player, Ky merged his loves of hockey and travel when he lived in  Denmark  and played on a local team. After graduating in 2012 with a business diploma, Kylan officially joined the Civilized team and embarked on a journey to  Papua New Guinea  as well as  Australia  for the Solar Eclipse (2012).  Since then, he has safari’d and inspected properties in  Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.  He accompanied the Calgary Health Trust on their successful "Climb to Conquer Kilimanjaro" and in 2016 he joined our Civilized Adventures/Going Wild adventure cruise in Baja’s Sea of Cortes.
